First Class Service

Amazing Day, Southampton, Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and London

We arrived in Southampton on a cruise ship for our first visit to England, with two days before our flight home to the U.S. and plans to stay in London. We needed transportation from the port to the city and came across LondonCruise-Transfers, who offered a day trip including stops at Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. Booking with them turned out to be the best decision we could have made.

David, our driver, was outstanding from start to finish. He responded quickly to our reservation, gave clear instructions on where to meet him after disembarkation, and was waiting for us in a clean, well-equipped Mercedes van stocked with snacks, drinks, WiFi, and phone chargers. He handled our luggage and got us on the road smoothly.

On the way to Stonehenge, David asked if we preferred a quiet ride or a more guided experience. We chose the latter and were very glad we did. He shared insightful history about the area and, as a member at Stonehenge, gave us valuable context and tips on what to expect. After a couple of hours այնտեղ, he was right on time to pick us up and continue to Windsor Castle.

The day before our trip, we had tried to purchase tickets to Windsor Castle but were told they were sold out online. We mentioned this to David and he told us to give him an hour. Shortly after, he sent us a link where we were able to secure tickets. His help saved our plans. Once there, his recommendations on how to navigate the visit were spot on, including where to grab excellent fish and chips and a pint.

The drive into London gave us a chance to relax and recharge, and as we approached the city, David shared clear, practical advice on how to make the most of our remaining two days.

Overall, this was a seamless, well-organized, and genuinely enjoyable experience. The combination of transportation, sightseeing, and personal guidance made it exceptional. Perfect trips!

We used to London Cruise Transfers on our outbound trip (London to Southampton port) and our return (Southampton port to London Stansted Airport Hotel). The first trip was perfect! Our driver, Awais, was right on time, had treats for my kids, drove extremely safely, and got us to the port right on time! He also had the booster and child seats already installed! On our return trip, our driver was David. Like Awais, it was a perfect trip! There is nothing I would change!

Scheduling both trips and all the logistics behind it were flawless! If you want a private driver, go with this company! We will definitely be using them again when we come back to London!

London to Stonehenge and Windsor with young boys

Professional service

We used their service to pick us up from the Southampton cruise terminal to our hotel in London. We booked them months in advance and they kept in contact with us to advise of final payment date … then a few days before we arrived we received a message advising us of the name of the driver … the day before the driver texted us to let us know he was the person who would pick us up … the morning of he texted us again to let us know he was on his way … and once arrived he texted us to advise us. Before we left the port the driver showed us his app with the approximate time of arrival at our hotel. He took charge of our luggage and in the car we had a bottle of water each ! I found the whole process extremely professional and reassuring. The driver was well dressed and drove very well ! We were very well treated from day 1 to drop off ! Thanks !

Travel during the Tube Strike; wifi and chargers (yay!)

Short version: David went above and beyond the call of duty! He was incredibly patient when a normal 1 hour trip from Blenheim Palace to London took 3 hours because of the tube strike, and he volunteered (and did) to pick us up at 9:30ish the next night after our ABBA Voyage concert and return us to the hotel (when we bought the tix, the show was supposed to be a quick tube ride away).

Long version: As arranged before our trip, Dave picked us up at the Southampton cruise terminal and took us to Blenheim Palace, Churchill’s grave, and our London Hotel. This was about our fifth trip with him – We had visited the Cotswolds, Bath, Stonehenge, and many other sites during previous trips with David – and, as always, his SUV was loaded with snacks, beverages, reading materials about our stops, chargers for the phone, and wifi on board. David always has great tips for things not to miss, stories about historical and moderns sites on our route, and the ability to answer any questions we might have, no matter how weird. We really enjoy talking to him and we have plenty of quiet time to watch the scenery, read the materials, or nap if the smooth ride lulls us to sleep or the days’ activities have worn us out.
David is flexible in arranging stops, and we’re looking forward to riding with him again!

Stress free luxury transportation

We hired London Cruise Transfers to take us from Gatwick to Tilbury Cruise Terminal. David was prompt in replying to my inquiry and communicated all details timely and professionally. We had a lovely, comfortable and stress free trip to board our cruise ship. I highly recommend him for your transportation or your needs.

Davison’s THE BEST!

David took us from our hotel in London to the dock at Tilbury where we met our cruise ship. We’ve rarely, if ever, had a nicer ride by a nicer driver who not only made sure our luggage was totally handled (which I was so grateful for because my husband was in a sling and not any help at all), but who also made sure that we had every creature comfort during the trip and had every one one of our endless questions answered with good humor and in great detail. It was a pleasure from end to end. I cannot recommend David and his business highly enough. Without question, we will be hiring him the next time we come to London!

Private transfer from Tilbury Cruise Port to Hotel in Kensington

We had a scheduled pick up from the Tilbury Cruise Terminal to our hotel. David was our driver who was both professional and friendly. He pointed out many of the landmarks along our journey to the hotel. He was early for our pick up which we were thankful for as the process to get off the cruise ship was quick. Also easy to get a hold of him so we could let him know we were early off the ship. Would highly recommend David’s services!

Clean, comfortable, and friendly transportation

David was great! Very smooth trip from the airport to my hotel in London. The car was very clean and had snacks, drinks, blankets and pillows. Very comfortable ride after a redeye flight.

South Hampton to Heathrow via London

My mother, grandmother, sister and I had a lovely morning with David. He transported us from South Hampton to Heathrow. On the way to Heathrow, he took us to see many sights throughout London, allowing us to experience the highlights of London prior to flying home. He was knowledgeable, professional, and very accommodating. His vehicle was very well equipped, clean, and comfortable. We would highly recommend!

Excellent Transfers

Sajid picked us up from our rental in London and dropped us off at the cruise terminal in Tillbury. He arrived early and was considerate of our needs. He was a very safe driver and highlighted some of the history of London as we drove through. We appreciate his professionalism and kindness!

Easy transfers from LHR to London

Adnan was a great driver. He was very prompt and patient as we waited for our luggage at Heathrow which was inordinately slow. We chatted on the drive into the city and he was knowledgeable about the areas through which we traveled. He also helped us figure out the lockbox, which was more than my sleep deprived brain could manage. We have used London Cruise Tours on previous trips and they are fantastic to work with and have great communication. Definitely recommend.

Large Family Made Happy :)

Hello, we went on a private self-guided tour of Cambridge which was not an option on the menu but David with London Cruise answered our calls and emails and helped make the tour happen. We also used David’s team as an airport transfer that then took us on various stops before our hotel room was available which was one of the best decisions we made on the trip.

The car got all 7 of us! A nice, upscale, large vehicle.

Trip to Windsor and Hampton Court Palace

You can’t go wrong with this private hire for your tour needs. We had David as our Driver and he was fantastic taking us to Windsor and Hampton Court Palace for the day. David was honest and forthcoming letting us know the castle was closed on the original day that we booked. He could have easily said nothing and taken us to Windsor, but he proactively called me and let me know ahead of time. I’m very grateful. Oh and his Mercedes Van was very roomy and comfortable for me and my family. We had a great and relaxing day.

To and From Cruise Terminal Southampton

What a great experience with Dave! We were a family of 5, traveling with lots of luggage. Dave picked us up right on time at our hotel in London and got us to the cruise terminal in style with snacks, drinks and warm blankets. I dont know how he got all 12 suitcases in, but he did it no problem. After our 12 day cruise he was right there to pick us up and all our luggage again and in comfort ride to our airport hotel. We had a great experience and recommend their service to everyone.

I had a fantastic experience with London Cruise Transfers. David met me and my family at LHR early in the morning and was friendly, welcoming, and completely on time. He communicates everything clearly by email, which made the whole process simple and stress-free.

Before our cruise, I asked for a same-day London sightseeing trip and David and Kiri planned it perfectly. We stayed ahead of schedule, enjoyed a relaxed morning exploring London, and still reached Southampton right on time. The ride was also incredibly comfortable because David’s luxury Mercedes V Class van has plush leather seats, light refreshments in the back seat area, and plenty of space. He is an organized driver who drives safely and even made occasional stops at highway rest areas, which made the trip relaxed and enjoyable.

I booked David again a week later for my Scotland trip. He picked me up and drove from Southampton to Liverpool, then to Glasgow for the night, and finally to Edinburgh. I was able to visit Loch Lomond, Glenkinchie, see Highland cows, and enjoy the Johnnie Walker experience. I wrapped up my trip with a brief visit to Edinburgh Castle and he lastly dropped us off at our hotel next to Edinburgh Airport right on time. David made the entire journey smooth, flexible, and genuinely enjoyable.

If I am ever back in the UK, I will definitely book with him again. Highly recommend London Cruise Transfers.

Southampton to Heathroe

We came off the Queen Victotia in Southampton and were greeted promptly by our driver, Awasi. Awasi was courteous and very professional. The car was impeccable and water was available. We had a wonderful, stress free ride to Heathrow. Thank you.

Amazing all round!

Dave, our driver, was amazing as always. He arrived early as he always does, drove so smoothly and dropped us right outside the restaurant we were going to. He was very smartly dressed, his vehicle was immaculate and he is just lovely, no bad words or reviews for Dave. He always goes above and beyond with his services and nothing is too much trouble. We had booked four transfers with London Cruise Transfers and had excellent service with Steven Jones who accommodated all of our needs perfectly.
Unfortunately we had to cancel as our cruise was cancelled out of Southhampton.
Steve immediately credited us back our initial deposit and I told him that we would keep all information on file as we will surely use them when we go to England sometime next year.
We have used various travel transfers in the past but have never had service like this. I would recommend them totally

I’ve worked with many private, luxury day hires all over Europe, and my experience with Dave was by far the best we’ve ever had. Dave is a complete professional and provided first class service throughout our 10-hour multi-stop drive from London to Leeds, Dover, Canterbury, and then back to London. Although we had complete say over the day’s itinerary and agenda, Dave was sure to provide his suggestions so that we could be sure to arrive while there was still daylight at our more scenic stops. We absolutely appreciated that he was ready and waiting with all the doors propped open when we were ready to leave one destination for the next, and he always kept a variety of snacks and refreshments for us to grab throughout our journey. Since our day was so long, having wifi/power chargers (for multiple devices) was a very handy feature to have as our group consisted of digital entrepreneurs, and it was very easy for us to stay abreast of business through the day as we traveled from one destination to the next. Lastly, although this wasn’t even part of our itinerary, Dave provided us a farewell treat when he made a stop for us (after 9 hours of driving) at one of London’s most scenic spots for nighttime video footage. There’s no other private hire driver I can recommend more than, Dave, and I absolutely look forward to working with him directly again for our next full-day, private daytrip.

My dad and I spent about 12 hours with Dave Wilshaw driving us around England. We went to Leeds, England to visit the Royal Armory Museum and the next day we went to Windsor Castle. Dave is very accommodating… willing to change travel plans on a moment’s notice. Excellent driver – very safe, very courteous. Pleasant conversation when we were up for it, but also let us sleep if we needed to. We would highly recommend Dave to anyone who needs a high-quality, professional driver in the London area. Dave had the forethought to have us buy our Windsor Castle tickets the day before so we could skip the lines. Dave is awesome!

Fantastic Tour From Southampton to London Through the Cotswolds

From the time we started arranging the tour it was a pleasure to work with David. He helped us with the itinerary, and gave us suggestions on what to visit. David was there when we disembarked from our ship in Southhampton, helped us with our luggage, he had water and snacks in the luxury van. We went to Blenheim palace, where he gave us ampl time to explore and shop. Then on through the Cotswold. Every town he took us to was beautiful. After twelve hours we arrive at our hotel. It was a wonderfull day made more pleasurable with David’s help and knowledge. We will use David and his company the next time we are in London. And we would highly recommend him to everyone. It was a great experience.

Great day from Southampton

David was there the minute we disembarked, loaded our luggage and provided us with a great transfer to our hotel in London via Salisbury and Stonehenge. He provided commentary on our travel, stopped to let us tour Salisbury (not originally booked), and background on Stonehenge. It was a leisurely drive in the English countryside rather than the motorways. We had a lovely drive to London, only to encounter many road closures.. David had to drive over a couple bridges to finally get us to our hotel. Highly recommended and worth the cost

Expensive but worth it.

We had a really great day. We were picked up on time at our hotel and had a great drive to Leeds and Dover with a great pub lunch in a little village in between sights. Our driver was courteous and professional and gave us all the time we wanted to explore. My wife has some mobility issues so this was a perfect way to travel. A tour bus would have been less expensive but not nearly as entertaining or interesting as we travelled many back roads. Highly recommended.

As a frequent cruiser this was first trip with 7 of us..My two grandchildren two buggies all the cases and a ” blue elephant”… Our wonderful driver was there; I looked at our cases thinking how will it all fit! It did…what a lovely courteous chap..we had good conversation with water and sweets…

London Cruise Transfer

We traveled again with David from London Cruise Transfer. David picked us up from Heathrow and took us safely to Gatwick in plenty of time for our flight to Mauritius. He was there at 5am for our return journey. You can rely on David to be there when said he will be. This takes away a lot of stress from what would otherwise be a difficult transfer. His Mercedes Viano was spotless and the drive was a pleasure. We have complete trust in David.

Took this service from downtown London to Southampton before our cruise and again from Southampton to Heathrow after our cruise. Drivers were Alan and Dave (owner). Service was great and price was very reasonable – vehicles were nice Mercedes vans. They were prompt, professional, and courteous. Fantastic service!

My wife and I and another couple just completed a one month vacation to Great Britain and used “Londoncruise-Transfers” on three different occasions during our trip. We communicated directly with David, the owner, prior to our vacation to make the arrangements and he was the one who ended up providing our transportation.

He was waiting for our group of 4 adults at Heathrow in a luxurious new Mercedes van, loaded our luggage, provided water and wi-fi in the van and took us directly to our hotel in London. For our second trip with David, he picked us up at our hotel and took us to the cruise ship terminal to catch our cruise, he even stopped at the perfect pub for lunch on the way to the terminal. Finally, David picked us up at our hotel in York at the end of our sea and land holiday to take us back to Heathrow. David was very accommodating to our needs and was on time each time.

We would definitely use David and Londoncruise-Transfer (please note the exact spelling since there are many similarly named transfer companies) the next time we go to England.

London airport transfers

Dave provided an excellent and very reliable service, arriving punctually and waiting for us in the arrivals hall on both the outbound and return journeys.
His luxury Mercedes Viano was immaculate both inside and out, very comfortable and there was more than enough room to store our ample luggage and golf equipment.
Dave himself is a very polite and considerate chauffeur, infact we were so impressed, that since then and it was only 5 weeks ago, we have booked a further four transfers with him.
